Shelter II (1943)
Located at the upper installation
In 1943 an allied airplane flew over Flåt mine taking spy photographs. The Germans built two shelters at Flåt mine after the incident, one at Loddsynken (at the upper installation) and one at the flotation plant (at the lower installation). Flåt mine was not bombed, due to the fact that so many Norwegians were killed in the bombing of Knaben molybdenum mine in Kvinesdal.
