Lower cableway station
The ore was transported by a cabelway from Loddsynken (the vertical shaft) to the storage bin and the sorting house (Reima) in small iron crates called «kibber». From Reima and the flotation plant the ore and ore concentrate was freighted in “kibber” by the Langeline cableway to the smelting plant in Evje, a distance of 4,8 km. The cableway was built in 1909, when Evje and Flåt got electric power.
