Conveyor belt for transport of ore (from 1937)
The conveyor belt went from the big crusher at the new vertical shaft (Loddsynken) to the ore silo. Earlier the ore was transported the same stretch in small iron crates (kibber) on an overhead cable way.
The cableway station and wooden storage bin burned down in the 1937 fire. There was then built a concrete silo and a high capacity conveyor belt which transported the ore to the top of the silo. A shorter conveyor belt went on to the cone crusher.
